From Shopify admin: Products → Export → select "All products" or "Current page" → Export as CSV. Do not open in Excel before uploading — Excel replaces straight quotes with curly quotes and corrupts barcode numbers, both of which cause silent import failures.
What the Shopify Product CSV output looks like
A clean Shopify product CSV ready for reimport. Export-only columns (Variant ID, Product ID, metafields) are stripped — leaving them in causes "invalid column" errors. Blank Variant Inventory Tracker fields are set to "shopify" so inventory actually tracks (without this, stock silently shows 0). Missing Variant Price, Grams, Inventory Policy, and Fulfillment Service are filled with safe defaults. Curly/smart quotes are straightened to prevent encoding errors. Handles with uppercase or spaces are slugified to avoid silent product merges. Image positions are renumbered sequentially so images appear in the right order. Vendors shorter than 2 characters are padded (Shopify rejects single-character vendors). Drop the output straight into Shopify admin → Products → Import. Shopify product-CSV docs

My file is huge — will it still work?
Conversion runs entirely in your browser. Modern browsers handle files up to ~50 MB cleanly; bigger files may slow your tab. If the converter ever fails on a file we say we support, that's our problem — see the next answer.
How do I know my data is private?
Conversion runs entirely in your browser. We never upload your CSV content; only account and purchase metadata is stored. See the Privacy page.
The output is in the wrong format / missing columns.
Double-check the source format picker. Run the sample CSV first to confirm the adapter does what you expect. If the output is still wrong, email [email protected] with the source; we fix the adapter and re-credit any spend.
How do credits work?
Every download spends one credit. New accounts get 5 welcome credits when you sign in. Conversion in the browser is unmetered; only the download deducts a credit.
